We had a full day. 24 MSCA teachers from new sites participated in the information filled seminar/training session led by Juanita Croft and Jan Half. Newcomers from Half Moon Bay, (Cunha, Boys and Girls Club and YMCA) came, we had a large contingent from Woodside High School, two mentors from Modesto, two teachers from Taylor Middle School, Olinder and Willow Glen were present as well.
Before the training, Julie Wynn from Electronic Arts gave the teachers who were sponsored by IBM and EA a tour of the facility, and a chance to eat and shop at their cafeteria and store. The food was good and the shopping even better, they gave us hefty discounts we could not refuse.
We would like to thank the SMCOE for allowing us to host our MOUSE Squad of California training in their offices/computer lab in Redwood Shores.
