1. Interview with Steve Wozniak about the new iPhone
Get teachers and students to be involved in the early days of computer mania, Steve Wozniak of the “dial a joke fame”. Points to ponder: Who were the pioneers of technology as we know it now?
In the next few days, the iPhone will be sold like hotcakes. Are there any competitors?
3. Tikibar tv with Kevin Rose in an episode
The fans of digg.com will know how new technorati are the “icons” in the podcast age.
SUMMIT and RECEPTION at the COMPUTER HISTORY MUSEUM, Mt. View, CA June 1st 2007
Our June 1st at the Computer History Museum in Mt. View was a resounding success. We had our summit conference and volunteer reception featuring our faculty advisors and community partners. Students from Crittenden Middle School and Aragon High School were featured in the question and answer portion, Risa Sackman and Ted Bongiovanni flew from MOUSE Squad New York to do the teacher certification training.
Our event sponsors were Accenture, Robert Half Technology, The Computer History Museum and the Lions Club of San Mateo. Program sponsors this year were Xilinx, IBM, the Lions Clubs of Foster City and San Mateo and the Foster City Police Officers’ Association.
